Mural Painting at Wat Rachatiwat 2
The mural paintings inside praying hall (Ubosot) were painted by C.Rigoli, an Italian artist who was famous in the period of King Rama V. The way in which he chose to depict these sacred scenes is a drastic departure from the two-dimensional Thai style as he employed the full spectrum of three-dimensional perspectival painting.
