2019 Living Heritage Series: Tugging Rituals and Games
This book introduces the tug-of-war traditions of Korea and the three Southeast Asian countries mentioned as well as the tugging traditions passed down in Japan, Thailand, and Ukraine. The book presents studies showing various conditions and perceptions of tug-of-war in each country. So, it will be valuable research material for those interested in tug-of-war.

Living Heritage Series-Traditional Musical Instruments
ICHCAP published the book Living Heritage Series – Traditional Musical Instruments in collaboration with the ICH NGO Forum’s #HeritageAlive.\n\nProven from a long history, music shares thoughts and emotions among community members who play the instruments and enjoy it. This book was made with the contributions of fifteen writers from countries across the globe. The authors describe the current status of traditional music and provide insight on how to revitalize these traditions based on the 2003 Convention.

Contribution of Intangible Cultural Heritage to Sustainable Development in South Asia
ICHCAP published a book in collaboration with banglanatak dot com, an UNESCO accredited NGO, about ICH NGOs’ contribution to sustainable development. The 29 NGOs’ story showcase us how intangible cultural heritage can drive, enable, and guarantee achieving SDGs along each of its three dimensions –the economic, social, and environment-underpinned by peace and security as fundamental prerequisites for sustainable development.\n\n

Creative Value of ICH for Sustainable Development
This report includes presentation papers and a discussion summary of the three sessions that took place during the conference. The first chapter, “What Is the Significance of the 2003 Convention,” includes papers on the historical meaning and current situation of the Convention. The second chapter, “How to Safeguard the Value of ICH,” reviews measures on how ICH can promote cultural diversity, sustainable development of humanity, and social development in developing countries. The last chapter, “How to Promote Better ICH for Sustainable Development,” includes country reports that outline the efforts each participating country has taken to promote and use ICH.

The 3rd APHEN-ICH International Seminar – Diversity and Distinctiveness: Looking into Shared ICH in the Asia-Pacific
This seminar material contains presentation manuscripts that were announced at the 3rd APHEN-ICH International Seminar held on 18-19 Feburary 2021. ICHCAP hosted this event in cooperation with the UNESCO Bangkok Office and Korea National University of Cultural Heritage (KNUCH).\n\nThis seminar was held under the theme of Diversity and Distinctiveness: Looking into the Shared ICH in the Asia-Pacific, to re-assess that while fragile, intangible cultural heritage is an important factor in maintaining cultural diversity, connecting bounds, and enhancing international dialogue and peace.

2018 Research Reports of CPI Participants
As part of the Cultural Partnership Initiative of 2018, ICHCAP invited ICH professionals from Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines. This publication is a collection of the research reports of 2017 CPI participants. The participants selected their own topic and conducted researches based on their various activities during their five-month stay in Korea.
