The Children are Painting the World
The Children are Painting the World Social Fund was opened in January 2016 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The main activities of the Fund are to support the creativity and innovation of children and youth; support community involvement in social, cultural, and creative activities; and popularize the achievements of art, culture, intangible, and tangible heritage.

YAP STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION OFFICE OF MICRONESIA
The Yap State Historic Preservation Office (YSHPO), located in Yap State in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), operates under the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs of the Yap State Government and has a regular budget funded by the local government and the National Park Service (NPS) and the United States Department of the Interior (DOI). YSHPO also receives occasional funding assistance for projects, technical or capacity building, and training and workshops from esteemed regional and international organizations—such as UNESCO, ICHCAP, and CRIHAP—and various national governments, including those of Australia, France, United States, and the FSM. YSHPO also collaborates and networks with other regional organizations, universities, and other bodies. To name a few, they include the University of Oregon, the University of Guam, Queens College, La Trobe, and others by conducting field schools in Yap during academic breaks.\nYSHPO has five main functions: 1) collecting Yapese written and oral history, 2) registering and surveying cultural and historical properties, 3) inventorying and mapping cultural and historical sites and properties, 4) restoring and rehabilitating cultural and historic properties, and 5) performing general YSHPO administration, including NPS/DOI Historic Preservation Fund (HPF). The organization also occasionally assists and supports the operation of the Yap State Living History Museum. Of some related projects, ICHCAP has funded three in Yap: 1) Youth Meets ICH with OurYAP, an umbrella youth organization for all the youth clubs, including high school children in Yap State, 2) the Preliminary Survey on Dormant ICH Data in the Pacific with a mixture of project workers from the Waab Cultural Heritage Society (elders) and some young people along with YSHPO staff, and 3) the 2017 ICHCAP-YSHPO Joint Cooperation Project for Safeguarding Intangible Heritage by Digitizing ICH-Related Analogue Data of the FSM, which is still ongoing.

International Institute for the Inclusive Museum(Amaravathi Heritage Society)
The International Institute for the Inclusive Museum (IIIM) brings together a large number ofnclusters of research and capacity building institutions, arts, museums and heritage bodies acrossnthe world. Most of them actively engage on our social media channels. The criteria for participationninclude demonstrated commitment to the ICOM Code of Ethics and Cultural Diversity Charter;nUNESCO Charter and its suite of Soft Law and Hard Law standard setting instruments and theirnethical requirements; UN post 2015 Development Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals. Withnhubs all over the world, IIIM enhances constructive engagement with several knowledgencommunities and promotes state-of-the-art online research, learning and teaching systems.\nnAmaravathi Heritage Society was formed in December 2015 with Amaravathi Mahila Samiti or Women’s Society. The local Ambedkar society advocates the heritage of Dalits. The society directly started working with the poorest and most disadvantaged Chenchu and Yenadi tribal communities. Then the Dhanyakataka (Amaravathi) Buddhist Society was also included. Later on the Women’s Empowerment Development Society WEDS actively participated in their working. Amaravathi is a village and with three other villages and 19 hamlets, it constitutes a mandalam or administrative unit. The total population is about 27,600. After establishment the first challenge for the institute was to raise heritage consciousness and bring together the people to take ownership of their ‘Varasatvamu’ or heritage, especially intangible heritage. Its aim is to practice of heritage tourism, where the valuing and safeguarding of primary resources, cultural and natural, in creating products for the recreational spectrum. Amaravathi Heritage Town is a lead project designated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Curating the town brings together all the cultural heritage values and environmental ethics into one seamless local community cultural development project.\n Amaravathi Heritage Town project facilitated by the International Institute for the Inclusive Museum has given a platform to many CBOs and NGOs to work together. Participatory cultural mapping enabled the location of the first voice of primary stakeholders in the project. The town has waited for 2000 years to be considered for development since the times of the Satavahana and Ikshvaku kingdoms when Amaravathi was the capital. It was here that Mahayana Buddhism took both and spread all over Asia, especially Korea, Japan and China. It is the civil society that is revitalising and safeguarding the intangible heritage and conserving the tangible heritage. Amaravathi Heritage Town project is the catalyst for sustainable heritage development.

Rupayan Sansthan(Rajasthan Institute of Folklore)
In the 1960s, Late Komal Kothari ,a renowed folklorist and ethnomusicologist and his very close friend, Vijaydan Detha an eminent Rajasthani writer realized that the problem of language covered the whole way of life of people and soon set out on a goal which became larger than collecting tales and songs. They further expanded their archival and research work in the field of folklore encompassing folk songs, folk tales, folk beliefs, proverbs, folk ballads, folk epics of long plays, folk gods and goddesses, social practices, rituals, fairs and festivals, rural food, nomads and pastoral ways of life. Until 1990’s they travelled more than 29000 villages to collect the large repository of cultural heritage both intangible (oral) in the form of audio video and tangible object’s of daily life made from natural resources. During 30years of intense study by them on folklore (in ethno-geographic regions) they finally looked into the traditional ways of knowledge transmission where the practice is to “learn but not to teach” in a structured way. In the year 1995 Komal Kothari got the recognition of his work by the Government of India and has been awarded Padma-Shree in 1983 and Padma Bhusan in 2004.

INDONESIAN HERITAGE CITIES NETWORK
The Indonesian Heritage Network—Jaringan Kota Pusaka Indonesia (JKPI)—is a good example of networking among local governments for safeguarding ICH.\nThe Indonesian Heritage Cities Network is an inter-local government organization (not an NGO) that coordinates on a national level among cities and districts possessing varieties of natural and/or cultural heritage (tangible and intangible). JKPI aims to jointly safeguard natural and cultural heritage including ICH. JKPI was declared on 25 October 2008 in Surakarta City by twelve cities. One of the mayors who declared the establishment of JKPI was Ir. Joko Widodo, then Mayor of Surakarta and host of the meeting, (presently 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia.) As of the seventh National Working Meeting Karangasem, Bali in June 2019, JKPI has seventy member cities and districts. The objectives of JKPI are:n• To develop collaboration amongst cities (and districts) having important natural and cultural heritagen• To develop collaboration for safeguarding heritage with stakeholdersn• To promote a role of communities in safeguarding heritage and its positive development in social lifen• To inventory the wealth of the heritage of the member cities/districts of JKPIn• To develop an understanding of the diverse nature and culture to strengthen the Unified State of the Republic of Indonesian• To be used as a vehicle for promoting existing heritage for JKPI member cities/districts3nJKPI is a non-profit and independent organization, and is not intended to advance the interests of, or be affiliated with, any group or political party.

Nepali Folklore Society
Nepali Folklore Society (NFS) was established in 1995 as a non-profit academic organisation to promote folklore and folk life studies in the country. The Society has established a mode of folklore studies, disseminated the Nepali concepts of folklore studies and established wider contacts with the folklore societies and scholars from both within the country and abroad. As part of the same process of establishing a wider forum for folklore studies the Society has organized First International Folklore Congress in Kathmandu in 2001, Second International Folklore Congress in Kathmandu in 2003, Third International Folklore Congress in Kathmandu in 2009, Fourth International Folklore Congress in Kathmandu in 2012 and a National Folklore Congress in Kathmandu in 2006. The society collects materials related to folk culture and organizes workshops for the promotion and safeguarding of folklore. They mention that the intangible cultural heritage of Nepal is very much in practice today and not in threat of being extinct and the main responsibility that people have is to be aware of these cultures which are possible only by the dissemination of the documented knowledge.

Toguz Korgool Federation
Toguz Korgool Federation was founded in 1991 by bearers and practitioners that aimed to promote the game in all regions of the country.\n\nToguz korgool is played on a special board with pellets made of stone, wood, metal, etc. The game has several variations and improves the strategic and creative thinking of the players. Nowadays, toguz korgool is one of the popular traditional games played during many cultural, social, and sports events and contests. The Federation has established a number of clubs in schools and universities in the country to enhance peer-to-peer learning and the transmission of the game to a younger generation. \n\nToguz Korgool Federation promotes the game through different means by creating online games, conducting research, organizing contests, etc. Twice a year, trainers of the game strengthen their capacity by attending special courses. The toguz korgool game was included in the program of the World Nomad Games and attracted participants from 34 countries (as of 2018, during the III World Nomad Games). There is also International Toguz Korgool Federation which unites more than 56 countries that play this intellectual game. \n\nIn 2020, with the support of the Federation the nomination file “Traditional intelligence and strategy game: Togyzqumalaq, Toguz Korgool, Mangala/Göçürme” was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye. \n\nThe Federation continues its efforts in the wide dissemination, safeguarding, and promotion of the strategy game for global communities. \n

ICH NGO Forum
The ICH NGO Forum is the platform for communication, networking, exchange and cooperation for NGOs accredited by UNESCO to provide advisory services to the Intergovernmental Committee in the framework of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

TIAPAPATA ART CENTRE
Tiapapata Art Centre exists and is registered with the government of Samoa as a charitable trust, a nonprofit organization promoting traditional and contemporary arts and crafts. Its patron is His Highness Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese, Head of State of Samoa. With its vision of establishing a model art school fostering creative excellence in Samoa and the Pacific, the Tiapapata Art Centre’s mission is to provide an accessible and dynamic learning and creative environment that facilitates the achievement of educational, professional, and personal goals of students, artists in residence, and teaching staff in an atmosphere that fosters excellence in creativity, diversity, and innovation.\nThe Tiapapata Art Centre recognises the importance of Samoa’s intangible cultural heritage as expressed in its traditional arts and crafts, and the center is actively involved in promoting an understanding of this heritage through photography and films. Galumalemana, with the support of the Tiapapata Art Centre, has produced several films exploring Samoa’s creative economy. O le Aganuu Manogi a Sāmoa explores making and using fragrant coconut oil; Ole Aso ma le Fīliga, o le Aso ma le Mata’igātila examines using natural fibers in Samoa; tanoa features the making of the traditional wooden bowls used to serve ceremonial drinks called ‘ava; and tatau depicts the art of Samoan tattooing.

Founded in 2015, the Island Ark Project seeks to safeguard intangible cultural heritage (ICH)nimperiled by modernization and migration by promoting the use of digital technologies in thenPacific island states. Our primary strategy to combating threats to ICH is to train local stakeholdersnin the adoption, creation, and modification of websites and online databases to store and share ICHnrecords with people overseas. Finnish Folk Music Institute
\nThe Finnish Folk Music Institute Is a Centre for the Research and Presentation of Finnish Folk Music and Dance. Its premises are in the Folk Art Centre at Kaustinen, Central Ostrobothnia. The extensive archive and reference library are accessible for any user. The material consists of audio and video recordings, photos, literature and a newspaper clipping collection of over 100 000 pieces.\nThe Folk Music Institute is also a significant publisher: the album collection features archive collections as well as contemporary folk music, and the range of books consists of sheet music and scientific publication from the field of folk music and tradition.\nFinnish Folk Music Institute supports Finnish folk music and folk dance communities in safeguarding their intangible cultural heritage by: documenting living folk music and dance traditions; publishing recordings, books and notes on Finnish folk music, educating children in folk music and ICH; educating academic folk music students, advancing research of folk music and dance; participating in organizing the biggest folk music and dance festival in Finland; networking nationally and internationally with other folk music and heritage organizations; and promoting the interests of folk music and ICH in national cultural politic.

FOLK HERITAGE MUSEUM OF BHUTAN (PHELCHEY TOENKHYIM)
The Phelchey Toenkhyim (Folk Heritage Museum of Bhutan) founded and established under the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, was opened to visitors in July 2001, symbolizing yet another endeavor to safeguard and strengthen the intangible cultural heritage and skills of this society. It has dedicated itself to connecting people to the Bhutanese rural past. nPhelchey Toenkhyim attempts to preserve traditional artifacts, skills, and culture of Bhutan in efforts to make the daily lives of the Bhutanese people more widely known. These efforts were also made to reinforce the knowledge of their traditional lifestyle and culture before they disappear from everyday life and lose their practical value.\nThe museum also acts as a hub for village artisans to demonstrate their skills in craftsmanship as well as being used as an outlet for their products. Such programs provide opportunities for artisans to use their skills and instill enthusiasm in the minds of younger generations to learn contemporary trades. The museum has a particular appeal for younger generations in that it provides insight into the past while simultaneously demonstrating its relevance to the present for the future.
