Description Iftar (from the Arabic language opening the mouth, breaking the fast) is a custom associated with fasting in Islam. According to the Qur'an, a person who breaks a fast should feed others. In Islam, holding a feast with the participation of many people - Iftar is one of the meritorious deeds in Islam.
Social and cultural significance Iftar (in this perspective, rather, the entire institution of fasting - Uraza) is a tool for social balancing. Of course, it will not be possible to totally balance everyone, but the fact that the feeling of hunger comes to everyone is undeniable. Collective iftar is one of the most effective tools for uniting Muslims (during iftar). Ramadan, being the believer's annual spiritual "pit stop", allows for some time to get out of the abyss of worldly fuss, to strengthen social ties between believers.
Transmission method Islam is the spiritual and moral basis of the system of family education. As a religion, it arose in the 7th century and brought such moral values to family education as respect for parents, honoring elders, hospitality, friendship, mutual assistance, love of work.
