Native Seedream (www.seedream.org) first began collecting, cultivating, and supplying native seeds while traveling around Korea in 2007.¹ Since then, interest in native seeds has risen and native agricultural produce can now be found at local food and eco-friendly stores such as consumer coop stores. The more than 10,000 seeds we have collected from across the country include various crops including grains that are consumed on a daily basis, meaning self-sufficient farmers who are Native Seedream members are able to prepare their meals using mostly native seeds. |
